Looking for airport transfers from Carrum Downs? Taxi Peninsula picks up from any address in Carrum Downs in a wheelchair accessible taxi with a ramp or hoist, four-point wheelchair restraints and a driver trained to help you in and out safely.
Frankston-Dandenong Road is the main north-south route and can be heavy with trucks during business hours. EastLink and the Frankston Freeway provide quick access north and south. Industrial areas can be confusing at night, with large sites and multiple gates, so give the exact entrance or building number. There is no train station in Carrum Downs; Seaford, Kananook and Frankston stations on the Frankston line are closest. School zones and shopping areas add congestion at peak times. Residential streets on the western side are quieter and easier for wheelchair loading. Peak-hour traffic on Frankston-Dandenong Road and near the EastLink ramps can add time to your trip. Night pick-ups in industrial areas are safest at a lit entrance.

Mọi người còn hỏi gì nữa?
What happens if my flight is delayed?
When you include your flight number in the booking, we track the flight and adjust your pick-up to the actual landing time. That way the driver is there when you come through, whether the plane is early or running late. If your flight is cancelled or diverted, call us and we will rearrange the booking.
Can you take me to Avalon Airport from the Peninsula?
Yes. We run transfers to Avalon as well as Melbourne Airport at Tullamarine, and to Moorabbin Airport and Essendon Fields for charter and private flights. Avalon is on the other side of the bay, so allow plenty of time when choosing your departure, and book early for morning flights.
Where do I meet my driver at the airport?
After you collect your luggage, follow the airport signage to the taxi and pick-up areas. Keep your phone switched on so your driver can contact you if needed. Arrangements differ between airports and terminals, so if you have any doubt, ask when you book and we will explain what to do.
We are a family of five with lots of luggage. Will we fit?
For larger families or groups, book the Maxi WAT, which seats up to six passengers and has more room than a sedan. Tell us how many suitcases, prams, car seats or sports bags you are bringing so we can confirm everything fits. If it will not, we can suggest a second vehicle.
Can I get a fixed price for my airport transfer?
The booking form shows a fare estimate before you confirm, which gives most travellers a good idea of the cost. If you need a set figure for budgeting or a business expense claim, ask us for a fixed quote when you book. We will confirm the details by SMS or email.
Questions about airport transfers from carrum downs
How much does it cost for airport transfers from Carrum Downs?
Fares depend on distance, time of day and waiting time. The booking form shows an estimate, or ask us for a fixed quote.
Can you pick me up from my home, a hospital or an aged-care home in Carrum Downs?
Yes. We pick up from any address — homes, hospitals, clinics, aged-care homes and day programs — and help you from the door to the vehicle.
What if my flight is late?
Add your flight number when you book. We watch the flight and move your pick-up if it lands early or late.
Can you pick me up from my workplace in the Carrum Downs industrial area?
Yes. Give us the business name, street address and the specific gate or building where you will be waiting, since some sites are large with several entrances. Shift workers can set up recurring bookings for early starts and late finishes. We operate 24 hours, seven days, including public holidays.
What is the nearest train station to Carrum Downs?
Carrum Downs has no station of its own. Seaford and Kananook stations on the Frankston line are closest for most residents, with Frankston station a short trip south. We can drop you at any of them, or take you directly to your destination if that suits better.
Do you transport residents from aged-care homes in Carrum Downs?
We do. Many trips are to medical appointments, family visits and outings. Staff or family can book on behalf of a resident, and an aged-care account can be used. Our wheelchair vehicles have four-point restraints and lap-sash seatbelts, and a carer can travel with the resident.
