Tips from our drivers for Willow Creek Vineyard

  • Combine a tasting with drinks at Jackalope Hotel on the same property.
  • Book your return time before you sit down to lunch.
  • Weekends in spring and summer are popular, so reserve early.

Willow Creek Vineyard sits on Balnarring Road at Merricks North, sharing its property with Jackalope Hotel. It has a cellar door and a restaurant, and is a popular place for a long, relaxed lunch among the vines.

We take visitors to Willow Creek for tastings, lunches and celebrations, and pick them up again when they are ready. Hotel guests at Jackalope also walk over for a tasting, and we can run them to other cellar doors in Red Hill or Merricks afterwards. Balnarring Road is rural, so a booked taxi is the easiest way to get home. Many visitors come for a long weekend lunch, sharing a bottle and taking in the view across the vines. With a booked taxi, you can stay as long as you like and head home when you are ready. We also collect guests staying in Mornington, Mount Martha or Flinders.

Groups of up to eight can travel together in the Maxi WAT. For passengers who use wheelchairs, our accessible van and Maxi WAT both have four-point restraints, and drivers assist from door to door. MPTP cards and NDIS accounts can be used for vineyard outings too.
