Mornington Racecourse is home to the Mornington Racing Club and hosts thoroughbred race meetings throughout the year, along with functions and events in its facilities. Feature race days draw big crowds from across the peninsula and Melbourne.
Race-goers book us so everyone can enjoy the day without a designated driver. We bring groups from Mount Martha, Mornington, Frankston and further afield, and collect them at the end of the day. Functions and events at the racecourse are another common reason for trips. Feature race days draw a dressed-up crowd, and traffic around the course builds quickly as the last race finishes. If your group is staying in different suburbs, we can arrange separate cars, or one Maxi WAT if everyone is heading the same way. Functions held at the course on non-race days are another reason we run trips here.
Race-goers who use a wheelchair can travel in the ramp-equipped van, which takes four other passengers, or the Maxi WAT, which fits two wheelchairs and six seated friends. All our wheelchair vehicles have four-point restraints. Book early for feature race days, when demand peaks.
