The Arthurs Seat Eagle is a gondola running between a base station in Dromana and a summit station at Arthurs Seat. The ride offers broad views across Port Phillip, and it is one of the peninsula’s most popular attractions for families and visitors.
A taxi suits the Eagle well because you can ride one way and be met at the other station. Many families book us to drop them at the base, then collect them at the summit after a walk or a visit to the Enchanted Adventure Garden nearby. We also bring visitors from Rosebud, Sorrento and Mornington who prefer not to drive up the mountain road. Visitors from Melbourne often make a day of it, riding the Eagle, exploring the summit and then heading down to Dromana or Red Hill for lunch. We can book each part of the day in one go, so you are not left waiting at the top of the mountain.
Our wheelchair accessible van and Maxi WAT have four-point restraints and air-conditioning, and our drivers help from door to door. The Maxi WAT seats up to six plus two wheelchairs, suiting families and small groups.
