Cabrini Malvern is a not-for-profit Catholic private hospital in Melbourne’s inner south-east, run by Cabrini Health. It offers a broad range of surgical, medical and maternity services, and many specialists consult from rooms on or near the site.
Peninsula patients often choose Cabrini because their surgeon or specialist works there, which can mean a long trip for a pre-admission visit, the surgery itself and follow-up appointments. Most are not allowed to drive after a procedure, and family may not be able to take a full day off to drive them up and back.
