The Dromana Hotel is a long-established pub on the Dromana foreshore, looking out across Port Phillip at the foot of Arthurs Seat. It serves meals and drinks to locals and visitors and is a popular place to watch the sun go down over the bay.
Our taxis bring diners from Safety Beach, McCrae, Rosebud and Red Hill so the whole group can relax, and we take them home afterwards. Holidaymakers staying along the foreshore use us to get to the pub, the Arthurs Seat Eagle, the wineries of Red Hill and the hot springs at Fingal. On summer evenings the foreshore is crowded with campers and day-trippers, and a set pick-up time is the easiest way home. Out of season, locals use us for midweek meals and footy nights, when the pub is quieter but the drive home still matters.
For passengers with a wheelchair, we have a ramp-equipped van and a Maxi WAT with a hydraulic hoist and space for two wheelchairs plus six seated passengers. Drivers secure each chair with four-point restraints. NDIS and aged-care accounts are welcome, and carers ride along at no extra fuss.

Yes. The Red Hill wine region is just up the hill from Dromana. Tell us which cellar doors you want to visit and roughly how long you will stay, and we can book each leg so you are collected on time. It is a good way to enjoy tastings without anyone driving.
Do you have wheelchair taxis in the Dromana area?
Yes. Our wheelchair accessible van and Maxi WAT both serve Dromana and the surrounding towns. Book ahead, mention the wheelchair type, and the driver will help you from your door to the hotel entrance. Eligible passengers can use their MPTP card.
