نصائح من سائقينا بشأن Essendon Fields Airport

• Bring your operator’s name and departure details when you book.
• Add your flight number or tail number for pick-ups if you have one.
• Allow for traffic across the city, particularly on the freeways at peak times.

Essendon Fields Airport is in Melbourne’s north-west, close to Essendon and Strathmore. Once Melbourne’s main airport, it now handles mainly business and private aviation, charter flights, and some regional services.

Peninsula residents fly from Essendon Fields for charter flights, business trips, regional connections and private flights. It is a long trip across the city from Frankston or the Mornington Peninsula, and charter departures are often early in the morning. Business travellers heading to meetings interstate often fly from here to save time, and regional services attract passengers who prefer its smaller scale. Without a car, getting there from the south-east involves a train into the city and another connection out again, which is impractical for an early departure with luggage. A direct taxi is far simpler, and you can be dropped at your operator’s door.

Taxi Peninsula provides 24-hour transfers between your home and Essendon Fields. We drop you at your operator’s building, help with luggage, and track your flight for return pick-ups where possible. Choose a sedan or, for larger groups or wheelchair users, our Maxi WAT. Fixed quotes are available on request.
