Flemington Racecourse is home to the Victoria Racing Club and the Melbourne Cup, run each November during the Melbourne Cup Carnival. It hosts race days throughout the year, along with functions and events.
Racegoers from the peninsula and Frankston book us so everyone in the group can enjoy the day. During Cup week, roads around Flemington are busy and pick-ups need planning, so booking ahead and agreeing a meeting point is essential. Cup week brings long days and big celebrations, and many groups book a taxi so everyone can enjoy themselves. Outside the Carnival, Flemington hosts race meetings and functions throughout the year, which are usually easier to get to. Whatever the occasion, agreeing a pick-up time and place in advance makes the end of the day far smoother.
For passengers using wheelchairs, our accessible van carries one chair and four seated passengers, while the Maxi WAT carries two chairs and six seated. Drivers help from door to door, and carers travel along. A fixed quote for the trip to Flemington and back is available on request.
