Tips from our drivers for Frankston Arts Centre
- Book your return trip for shortly after the show’s expected finish.
- Arrive early to collect tickets and find your seat.
- Tell us about wheelchairs when booking so we send the right vehicle.
Frankston Arts Centre is the City of Frankston’s performing arts centre on Davey Street, hosting theatre, music, comedy, dance and community events. Its venues include a main theatre and smaller spaces, and it is a hub for local schools and arts groups.
Theatre-goers from across the peninsula book us to get to shows without worrying about the drive home. We also bring older patrons and community groups who prefer not to drive at night, and pick up families after school concerts and dance recitals. School concerts, dance recitals and graduation nights are busy, with many families arriving and leaving at once. Booking ahead means you are not left waiting on Davey Street with tired children after a late finish. For older patrons, a door-to-door taxi makes a night at the theatre much easier, especially on cold winter evenings.
For patrons using wheelchairs, the accessible van carries one chair and four seated passengers, while the Maxi WAT carries two chairs and six seated. MPTP cards are accepted for eligible passengers, and carers travel along. Drivers walk with you from the vehicle to the foyer doors if you need a hand.
