Moorabbin Airport is a busy general aviation airport in Melbourne’s south-east. It is known for flight training, with many flying schools on site, along with charter operators, aircraft maintenance businesses and other aviation services.
People from Frankston and the Peninsula travel to Moorabbin Airport for flying lessons, charter or private flights, and work at the many aviation businesses on the site. Others visit for business meetings or to collect someone arriving on a private flight. Without a single terminal, it is easy for a first-time visitor to end up at the wrong building. Student pilots in particular often have early lessons and may be too young to drive or not have a car. Charter passengers and people collecting aircraft also need a reliable way to reach a specific hangar on time, particularly when flights are timed around weather and daylight.
Taxi Peninsula takes you directly to the business or building you need. Add the exact address or business name to your booking, and our driver will find the right entrance. Sedans suit most trips, and we can send a wheelchair accessible vehicle where needed. We run 24 hours, so early lessons and late returns are not a problem.
