Port Phillip Estate is a Red Hill South winery known for its striking rammed-earth building on the ridge, which houses a cellar door, a restaurant and a small number of guest suites. The estate produces wines under its own label and the Kooyong label, with pinot noir and chardonnay at the heart of the range.
Most of our passengers come for a long lunch or a tasting, often as part of a day visiting several cellar doors along Red Hill Road and Shoreham Road. Taking a taxi means nobody has to count glasses or tackle the hill roads afterwards. Guests staying in the suites also book us for transfers from Melbourne Airport or Frankston station.
We can bring couples in a sedan or a larger group in the Maxi WAT, which seats up to eight. If someone in your party uses a wheelchair, the accessible van and Maxi WAT both have four-point restraints, and the driver helps from your door to the estate’s entrance. Weekends book out early in spring and summer.
