- Lock in your return time before weekend visits.
Quealy Winemakers is a family winery in Balnarring founded by winemaker Kathleen Quealy and Kevin McCarthy, known on the peninsula for pinot grigio, friulano and textural, skin-contact styles. Its cellar door offers a relaxed setting for trying wines a little different from the usual peninsula pinot and chardonnay.
Visitors book us to reach Quealy as part of a tasting day in Balnarring, Merricks North and Red Hill. With plenty to taste, a taxi is the simple way to make sure no one has to stay sober. We bring guests from Mornington, Hastings and Frankston and collect them at the end of their visit. Wine lovers interested in alternative varieties often seek out Quealy specifically, sometimes travelling from Melbourne for the day. We can collect you from home or Frankston station, take you to Balnarring and other nearby cellar doors, then bring you home in the evening.
For passengers who use wheelchairs, our accessible van has a rear ramp, and the Maxi WAT has a hydraulic hoist and space for two wheelchairs plus six seated passengers. Each chair is secured with four-point restraints for the country roads. Eligible passengers may use an MPTP card or NDIS account for the trip.

Questions about taxis to Quealy Winemakers
What kind of wines does Quealy make?

Can you take us from Quealy to nearby wineries?
Yes. Willow Creek Vineyard and Foxeys Hangout are a short drive away, and Red Hill’s cellar doors are not far. Tell us your plans, and we will book each leg so your group can move between them. Setting return times in advance works best.
Where will you drop me off at Quealy Winemakers?
We stop outside the tasting room for both drop-off and pick-up. If the winery points you to another meeting spot, just tell the driver.
Can you wait or pick me up after my appointment at Quealy Winemakers?
Yes. Book a return trip with an approximate time, then call or text us when you are ready. Appointments often run late, so we keep return pick-ups flexible.
Is there step-free access at Quealy Winemakers?
We drop you at the cellar door entrance.
Can I travel in my power wheelchair or scooter?

How do I pay?
Pay the driver by card or cash, use your Multi Purpose Taxi Program (MPTP) card, or choose "Account / invoice" for NDIS plan managers, aged-care providers and businesses.
