RACV Cape Schanck Resort sits on a golf course near the southern tip of the Mornington Peninsula, with views across the dunes towards Bass Strait. It is a popular base for golf breaks, conferences, family holidays and weddings, and it is a fair way from the nearest train line, so most guests arrive by car or taxi.
We drive guests to and from the resort at all hours. Common trips include Melbourne Airport transfers, rides to cellar doors in Red Hill and Main Ridge, and late returns after dinner in Sorrento or Rye. Wedding parties often book several cars so guests staying in Rosebud, Mornington or Frankston can get home without working out who stays sober. Golfers often split the day, with a morning round on the resort course and an afternoon at a cellar door, and a taxi makes that second half far more relaxing.
If you travel with a wheelchair or a mobility scooter, our wheelchair accessible van carries one chair plus four seated passengers, and the Maxi WAT takes two wheelchairs and six others. Book ahead for summer weekends and golf events, when the southern peninsula is at its busiest.

Yes. Book online or by phone and include your flight number, and we track the flight so the pick-up time moves if you land early or late. Let us know how many bags and whether you have golf clubs, so we send a sedan or a larger vehicle with enough room for everyone and everything.
We are going to a wedding at the resort. Can you get guests home afterwards?
We can. Book the return times in advance, ideally a little after the reception is due to finish, and give us the addresses guests are heading to. For bigger groups the Maxi WAT seats up to eight, or six seated plus two wheelchairs, which suits guests sharing a ride back to the same town.
