Rod Laver Arena is the centre court of the Australian Open and one of Melbourne’s main concert venues, located in the Melbourne Park sports and entertainment precinct beside the Yarra. It hosts major international tours, sporting events and shows throughout the year.
Peninsula and Frankston residents book us for concerts and tennis, so they can enjoy the night without the drive home. We also carry families with older relatives and wheelchair users who want door-to-door help rather than navigating trams and trains. Concert nights often finish late, and the walk to a train can be long and crowded. A booked taxi with a pick-up point agreed in advance means you can head straight home to the peninsula. During the Australian Open, many fans spend a full day at Melbourne Park, so set your pick-up for after the last match you plan to see.
Our wheelchair accessible van and Maxi WAT have four-point restraints, lap-sash seatbelts and air-conditioning. A carer can come along to the show in the same vehicle, and NDIS and aged-care accounts are welcome. You can ask for a fixed quote for the return run between the peninsula and Melbourne Park.

Can you take us to the Australian Open?
Yes. During the tournament, Melbourne Park is very busy, so allow extra time and book your trips early. Tell us your session times, and we will arrange drop-off and pick-up near the precinct. Booking ahead is strongly recommended, and fixed quotes are available on request for the return trip.
