The Flinders Hotel is the local pub in Flinders, a small seaside village on Western Port near the south-eastern corner of the peninsula. It is a hub for locals and a regular stop for visitors exploring the coastline, the pier and the nearby wine country around Main Ridge and Red Hill.
Because Flinders is relatively remote, people often book a taxi rather than taking on the drive home after a meal and a few drinks. We bring groups from Red Hill, Shoreham, Balnarring and Rosebud, and run guests on to cellar doors or back to their accommodation. Booking ahead matters here, as cars are not waiting on every corner. Walkers finishing a section of the coastal track around Flinders sometimes call in for a meal before heading home, and we can collect them from the pub at the end of the day.
Our fleet includes sedans and two wheelchair accessible vehicles: a van with a rear ramp and a Maxi WAT with a hydraulic hoist that suits heavier power chairs. Both have four-point restraints. Drivers help door to door, and Locals with an MPTP card can use it on trips to and from the pub.

Flinders is a small village some distance from the bigger towns, so it is best to book your trip home ahead of time rather than calling on the spot. Set a pick-up time when you book your trip in, and we will have a car committed to it. We operate 24 hours a day.
Can you take us from the Flinders Hotel to wineries in Main Ridge?
Yes. Main Ridge and Red Hill cellar doors are a short drive inland. Let us know which wineries you plan to visit and the order, and we can book each leg so you move between them smoothly and get back to Flinders or home at the end of the day.
