Frankston Hospital is the main public hospital for Frankston and the Mornington Peninsula, run by Peninsula Health. It has a busy emergency department and a wide range of inpatient wards, outpatient clinics and specialist services, and it has been through a major redevelopment to expand its capacity.
People travel here from right across the Peninsula, from Sorrento and Rosebud to Mornington, Hastings and the Frankston suburbs. Some come for a short outpatient appointment, others for day surgery, scans, or to visit a family member on the wards. Many are not able to drive afterwards, and the hospital car parks can be a slow, stressful start to an appointment.
Taxi Peninsula takes the parking out of the equation. Book a sedan for a straightforward trip, or a wheelchair accessible van or Maxi WAT if you travel in your own chair. Our drivers help from the front door to the hospital entrance, and the “pick up when ready” option suits discharge days, when the exact time you will be released is hard to predict. MPTP cards, NDIS and aged-care accounts are all accepted.
