Tucked between Frankston and Mornington, Mount Eliza is a quiet, green suburb with a strong village centre, and Taxi Peninsula looks after its trips at any hour. Choose a sedan for an everyday ride or a wheelchair accessible taxi when a passenger needs ramp or hoist access. Mount Eliza Village is the local hub for shopping, cafes and services, while the bayside streets of Ranelagh and the cliffs around Canadian Bay lead down to the water. Mount Eliza Regional Park sits on the inland side. The suburb is home to well-known schools such as Toorak College and Peninsula Grammar, so school-time trips are a regular part of our work. Nepean Highway and the Moorooduc Highway are the main roads, and with no train station in Mount Eliza, residents often book a taxi to Frankston station. Frankston Hospital, The Bays Hospital in Mornington and Bayside Shopping Centre are other common destinations.
If you are catching an early flight or have a fixed appointment time, book the night before. Our Maxi WAT seats six and carries two wheelchairs, and is handy for families, small groups or heavier power chairs. The nearest rail link is Frankston station, where the Frankston line begins. Canadian Bay Road and the streets leading down to the bay have limited stopping space, so pick a driveway or side street for loading. Traffic towards Frankston can build on weekday mornings.
